WHAT IS CATCH '09? Convergence Around Technologies Cardiovascular Health This symposium is the collaborative effort of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and vascular specialists discussing how to effectively manage complex patients' health issues. HISTORY A number of conferences in Northeastern Pennsylvania during the past several years focused on the treatment of cardiovascular disease such as live presentations from catheterization labs and heart surgeon safety courses. These meetings provided continued medical education by bringing together clinicians from regional healthcare institutions. WHO SHOULD ATTEND? CATCH '09 is itself a convergence of these previous conferences and is designed to emphasize how specialists in Northeastern Pennsylvania can use the latest techniques, in a complimentary fashion, to provide superb cardiovascular care. This premiere learning event will help increase understanding of the scientific and clinical issues that contribute to improved in-patient care by doctors, nurses and allied health providers. |
